Shipping, Returns and So Much More (FAQs)
Shipping Policy
My goal is to process, package and ship your order as soon as possible. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Orders placed on holidays and weekends are processed the following business day.
As soon as order processing is complete, packages will ship from Central Florida via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS).
Delivery time will depend on the shipping method you select and the location.
The day of shipment is not considered a transit day by any carrier no matter what time the order is placed, processed or shipped. Shipping times are in addition to the order processing time of 1-2 business days.
Estimated delivery times given at time of purchase are ONLY AN ESTIMATE. You will receive an email when your package has been shipped with tracking information that will more accurately reflect your packages transit time. Please note I am not responsible for delays in transit times provided by the carrier.
Once your package is in USPS or UPS hands, it is out of my control! Please contact USPS or UPS directly and have your tracking information handy. If you need information from me for a claim, please contact andrea@thewhimsyemporium.com
Incorrect Shipping Address
Oops! Since my goal is to package and ship your order as soon as possible, please let me know of the changes ASAP! After the package has left my hands, I will be unable to make any changes. If the carrier returns the package to me, I will be happy to issue a refund or re-ship but you will be responsible for the re-ship charges.
Adding/Removing Items in an Existing Order
Forgot to put that must have item in your cart? Or changed your mind on one of your items? It happens to the best of us! As long as your items are still in “processing”, I will be able to add or remove items. After the package has left my hands, you will need to place a new order for the additional items and follow the refund process for any unwanted items once you receive them.
Canceling an Order
Orders can be canceled as long as the order is still “processing.” Please send me an email ASAP and we will make every attempt to pull the shipment and refund the purchase.
Incorrect/Missing/Damaged Items
Oh no! I am so sorry! Please contact me via email ASAP. Incorrect, missing, or damaged items must be reported to us within 5 days of receipt of the package. I will respond right away with instructions on when to expect your item or how to return the items in question.
Refunds
All Sales are Final.
